Newest addition, the Kool-Temp (tm) remote refrigeration units, are an ideal addition to any sailing vessel or cruiser where either a previously operating refrigeration / freezer system once lived, or where a new insulated compartment is asking for refrigeration or freezing!

Our units are available in either 12v, 24v, and now 12/24v & 110v/220v with auto changeover from 12/24v to 110v/220v and back with no additional controls or circuits! Our sizes range from a 3 cubic feet up to a 9 cubic feet. Refrigeration and Freezing options are both available.

To properly order you system, first determine the size of the area you are looking to cool or freeze. Secondly, determine whether the compartment will be a refrigerator, a freezer, or both. Lastly, order the appropriate condenser and evaporator plate based on your requested needs.

105M bendable evaporator plate is designed to refrigerate an area with good insulation of no more than 2.8 cubic feet. It is ideal for top and front opening boxes.

190M bendable evaporator plate is designed to refrigerate and/or freeze and area with good insulation of no more than 6 cubic feet for refrigeration and 2.5 cubic feet for a freezer. It is ideal for top and front opening boxes.

260M bendable evaporator plate is designed to refrigerate and/or freeze and area with good insulation of no more than 9 cubic feet for a refrigerator and 3.5 cubic feet for a freezer.

Mermaid's 425M bendable evaporator plate is designed to refrigerate and/or freeze and area with good insulation of no more than 15 cubic feet for refrigeration and 5 cubic feet for a freezer. It is ideal for top and front box openings.
